Server merging is coming in the next week or maybe a little bit later.
Ceres and Mallory -> Ceres
so we will lose our wonderful name mallory and get called ceres. whatever.
Some informations about ceres.
vanu has the lowest population, tr highest population.
tr has some really good organized outfits, nc is working on it at the moment and vanu is still doing fine with only 25 percent pop on indar. but its pretty difficult for em.
tr has sometimes a population of 40 percent.
the bigger outfits on nc are avoiding the crown( looks like an agreement between some of the nc outfits). tr is zerging at the crown, which makes it balanced territory wise.
ceres has 33917 characters - mallory has 30092 characters
biggest server is miller with 57457 characters.
lets see how this is gonna work out.
i luv playing against new and more people. looks like a better time even if tr gets more and more players^^

I suggest we get talking with some of the big ceres nc outfits. It's probably already being done but if not, why not?  |

there is a website where the big vanu oufits already try to oganize emselves.
they also allowed enemys to register on this side for plannning big fights against each other... 1 nc outfit has already his section^^
at least thats what ive red.
in fact its pretty common that a faction is trying to work together.
and on our server, i dont know if our nc outfits are just doing their own thing?
whatever. the outfits from ceres are in general bigger than ours on mallory.
wduh from the terrans have about 450 members? and NC outfits normally have just about 100-200 members...but we re not talking about active players of course.
on ceres its over 600. even 2 nc outfits have over 600 members. so i think they have in general bigger platoons.

I'm worried about the meta game, with the merging we will have the largest server in the game and I'm pretty sure what will happen is people will just try and get the largest outfit they can turning Planetside 2 into Zerg wars (THIS SUMMER IN 3D!) where smaller outfits will have no choice but to merge with the Zerg, because the small dedicated numbers will be of no tactical use when they alert the horde. Of course this wont happen instantly but give it time I'm pretty sure this is the way the game will turn.

we are not the biggest server after merging with ceres.
one of the other merged servers will be.
and the statistics just show how many people were playing on our server but not which server has the highest activity.
but then again. small organized squads have a chance of merging with other good squads. im sure it will help those squads in the long run.
on the other hand...its in our hands if we can make a difference. we dont have to zerg with other people^^

Well this update has completely f*cked the game up for me, half the time I do ZERO damage and the hit detection is not even showing and half the people I encounter are warping all over the f*cking place so yeah do not expect see me in game anytime soon.

I've got the same problem as clinger. I hope i can find another solution in the net except overclocking my system or other stuff...waiting for an update or fix

Yeah its probably best to wait for the next hot fix in the mean time Ill keep working on my tactics thread etc...
