You're spot on about the fact they need to nerf respawn somehow - I share your pessimism about the team actually doing it, though. I think the secret to stopping a zerg is wiping out their vehicles. Once that happens a lot of the casual pubbies seem to go to the Crown on foot to farm/be farmed. Organised, large-ish platoons should be able to wipe out a tank/ESF zerg by falling back across 2-3 bases and mounting organised defence. I think people need to get "better" at losing territory, if that makes sense.
On the subject of Arma, I have an Arma 3 Lite invite going spare if anyone wants it. Just bought the Alpha, going to download it tonight.

Getting back to topic, cause we are ATFI in Planetside here  . We have all been and still are thinking a lot about how to develope this outfit. Thank you all for your engagement on this. BUT: Bear in mind that we have been existing for a solid period of one or two months! That's like no time for an outfit to find its way! I love the way you all are thinking, but please give us the time to go the way we need to in order to become not good, but great. Yeah, there are still many pubs minding of their own business. Yes, platoon leaders make mistakes. Yes, tactics are barely or not existent. Yes, we often avoid areas where there are "enemy platoons detected" instead of reinforcing allies being raped there. BUT: With time comes experience, with experience comes greatness. I have been a member and commander of this outfit from the day of creation and I want you all to be constructive in critising and taking part in outfit life. Only with your help, we can become the outfit which CrazyRules was searching for. His loss hurts (also personally) and he will be hard to replace, but he was too impatient in my eyes. We can only develope and progress by building a solid community of cernel ATFI members. Not only us leaders are the outfit, you are even more than we are because without you there would be nothing to lead. So please: Keep on being creative on how to bring us one step further. I see we make a good way in theory, now it is up to going into practice. If you give this outfit some time and don't hesitate to tell us your needs and wishes, I promise you won't regret the time invested. Enough for crying, now let's get this shit done!  |

Well said, i agree with all of what you have said And im happy with the way things are going, and i dont mind that when we recruit 10people 1 is useful! Because its all a start! Were certainly getting better, from when we started back in febuary, getting bolder and braver, were still finding our balance |
